In the year 1976 Durgawat Udhyogshala was established in order to meet the needs of the women workers & impart vocational and soft skill training to them in order to empower them to achieve their potential, support their families monetarily and develop a sense of independence. In keeping with our social commitment to do our bit for the empowerment of women whereby they can be trained in the vocation that interest them and thus be able to earn a dignified living by becoming economically self sufficient. Our organization has been running the Udhyogshala on a nonprofit basis since its inception.
