Welcome to RMV Girls College
RMV Girls college was established in 2010 by the leading and one of the oldest educational organization, RMV Sansthan in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Its aim is to prepare young female graduates in commerce to meet the challenges of the developing corporate world. The institute currently offers BACHELOR OF COMMERCE COURSE (B.Com.) affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University and has received permanent NOC from Directorate of College Education, Jaipur. Since its inception, college is striving towards greater heights with its teamwork and concerted efforts in providing ample academic environment.
We want to create a learning environment that respects the varied identities and world views of each and every member of our community. With the aim to provide all students with comprehensive academic and career advising services to support transition to college life, increase retention and decrease time to graduation, connect academic and co -curricular work, and demonstrate the value of a liberal arts education in professional success. RMV Girls College has started Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the session 2022-2023.
Each student is given the best opportunity to stretch and test herself in all areas of learning. The college has always seen quality education as first priority. It believes that quality education and skill formation in girls will greatly influence the development of the society. Thus, ensuring the academic rigor, institute industry interface and overall personality development of the students. We provide education so as to ensure that our students become self-sufficient and resourceful so that they can contribute towards the society.
Students are also prepared for professional examination along with their course curriculum and they are given proper career guidance also on continual basis. An integral part of education in this college is the development of individual personality by way of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in various fields.

The College has an approval of the State Government of Rajasthan and is affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is a state public university recognized university by Government of Rajasthan. We are affiliated to MLSU since 2010. We have received the permanent NOC from Directorate of College Education, Jaipur on 10/3/2016.
The College Campus has the required infrastructure in form of classroom, laboratory, library etc. to provide a good teaching environment.
RMV Girls College is located in lush green campus in the heart of city. The campus provides a perfect educational environment which is free from any type of pollution and is easy accessible.
The classrooms are fully furnished along with green boards. They are spacious, well- ventilated, hygenic and equipped with latest technology.
To connect our students with the technological world and stay competent we provide them with best computer knowledge in guidance of a competent computer teacher. The lab is equipped with 16 personal computer and 1 client server architecture. We also provide a Wi-Fi zone with 24 hour net facility.
A Physics Lab aids a student in establishing the relevance of the theory. It brings clarity in the mind of the students regarding the basic concept of the subject students understand the difference between theory and application .The laboratory helps a student in improvising their approach towards the subject.
In Chemistry Lab students are expected to indulge in a creative interplay of observation, experimentation and theoretical inferences.
In Botany Lab practical's are necessary for the study of the structure, properties and biochemical processes of all forms of plant life as well as plant classification , plant diseases and the interaction of plant with their physical environment.
The Zoology Laboratory provides the students with a suitable environment to develop a detailed understanding of the animal kingdom by exploring the physical, morphological and physiological characteristics of animals and their body systems.
The Computer Science Laboratory studies the logical foundations of scalable systems that are beyond the scope of traditional testing or simulation and builds and applies efficient high level tools for rigorous mechanical analysis.
A Home Science lab gives knowledge for facing new challenges to cope with knowledge explosion, technological advancements, new developments and growing needs of individual for successful living in society.
A Geography lab plays a pivotal role in enriching geographical base of a student. A necessary part of learning that exposes students to full spectrum of disciplinary subfields- physical, human and nature as well as geographical techniques. It specializes in the development of qualitative and quantitative research skill in college.
A Psychology lab is for the recording of behavior and for the monitoring of mental and emotional states. A lab is for the systematic control of environmental and individual factors which influence and determine human mental and emotional states.
With spread of literacy, libraries have become essential tools for learning. In accordance with the objectives of the institute, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the students and faculty. We have an enriched Library having Book Bank Facility along with 1500+ books. Various magazines, journals, tutorials, publications etc. are also available to enhance the knowledge of students.
We provide a large area for various sports activities to be held like races, cricket, football, kho-kho, badminton, etc.
It has ample space for parking of two-wheelers and four wheelers covering a wide area. It is supervised by vigilant cameras for security purpose.
A common room is provided as a facility to the girls for personal interactions in their spare time.
It provides hygienic and mouth-watering delicacies and different snacks to the students. Special dishes are served on special occasions.

Eligibility
The eligibility criterion for the course is passing the Senior Secondary Examination (12th class) in any stream as per UGC Norms.
Admission Procedure
The admission to the course is purely on merit and also ensures the statutory reservation of the seats for SC/ST and others.
The college offers various scholarships to the students as per government norms and discretion of the management under the following categories:

The College provides the students wide exposure through participation in various college activities and programme providing fruitful opportunities for learning and overall personality development.
These are performed by students at various occasions round the year. Competitions are conducted to synchronize with the varied festivities. It helps in the overall development of the students. They are encouraged to participate in various cultural activities so as make them aware with the various culture and traditions of India.
Students acquire new skills, new friends, career ideas and opportunities by participating in various academic activities like debates, extempore, quiz etc. We conduct various educational trips, outdoor visits and faculty development programs for the overall progress of the girls.
The College provides a unique and ambient guidance in various games like cricket, kho-kho, volley ball, badminton etc.
For better performance in their examination, internal exams and conducted twice in every year in which they are being evaluated and accordingly guidance, tutorials, assignment is given.
Students are taken to various industries to have a better knowledge of the subject.
It is conducted to enable prospective student entrepreneurs in the setting up of their own units, thus enabling them to get self-employment.
Every year student union is nominated/ elected as per the University norms in which students participate with full enthusiasm.
It is conducted to groom our faculties with the rapid changes and shifting paradigms of education.
Faculty of RMV are well qualified and as per the standard laid down by University Grant Commission.
